This site is intended as a resource for Cree language teachers, literacy instructors, translators, linguists, and anyone who has an interest in the Cree language.
The following volume is the most comprehensive one yet published on the nine Aboriginal languages found in Quebec: Abnaki, Algonquin, Attikamek, Cree, Inuktitut, Micmac, Mohawk, Montagnais and Naskapi.

This lexicon represents a landmark in the advancement and preservation of the Naskapi language. It is expected to become an aid to the education of our children as well as an important documentation of our language at this point in time.
