Baby Building Club – Cape Breton Family Resource Coalition

The club offers support sessions for pregnant women, especially teens, off-reserve Aboriginal women, and Black women; these sessions promote breastfeeding and address issues such as family violence, smoking, drinking, and drug abuse.

Mi'kmaq Association for Cultural Studies

Promotes, maintains and protects the customs, language history, tradition and culture of the native Mi'kmaq people, facilitates and promotes understanding and awareness to the cultural heritage of native Mi'kmaq people, etc.

Mi'kmaq Resource Centre

Repository of documents available for use by Cape Breton University Students, Mi'kmaw schools and educational institutions, Mi'kmaw social and cultural organizations, Mi'kmaw justice organizations, individuals interested in Mi'kmaw issues.
