The Mission of the Native Addictions Council of Manitoba is to provide traditional holistic healing services to First Peoples through treatments of addictions.
The centre is a family addictions treatment facility that offers a culturally oriented program designed to instill pride and empowerment to First Nations and Inuit families.
Located in Thompson, Manitoba, the Whiskey Jack Treatment Centre is a 22-bed facility for youth requiring treatment for drug, alcohol or solvent abuse.
Offered by Manitoba's Behavioural Health Foundation Inc., Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Programming is part of the long-term residential programming for men, women, teens and family units experiencing a variety of addiction problems.
