Clyde River Elders contribute greatly to the community by teaching about traditional Inuit lifestyles, making and collecting artifacts in order to preserve Inuit heritage, and counselling people on personal or cultural topics.

Final report on the Elders' conference, which objective was to gather Inuit traditional knowledge and the experiences of Inuit Elders on climate change and its effects in Nunavut.
