The RCAAQ was founded by and for Aboriginals dealing with urban reality and has for mission to advocate in favour of their rights and interests and to foster closer links between the various cultures.

Val-d'Or Native Friendship Centre

The Val-d'Or Native Friendship Centre is a community organisation that is a member of a large movement of friendship centres across Quebec and Canada and has become a beacon, a multi-service centre in a cosmopolitan town where different Aboriginal nations are present.
